The VOX L-48 "Lee" (VOX Lee for short) is a 3rd generation Virtuaroid featured in the Cyber Troopers Virtual-On series. It, along with the VOX L-43 "Loo", appear exclusively in Cyber Troopers Virtual-On MARZ.

Description

The Lee is a model developed in the VOX series at the 3rd Plant "Adax" (re-named from Moony Valley since V.C.a6). Produced as an inexpensive and lightweight combat unit, the Lee has good mobility and is easy to use, making it ideal for roles such as armed reconnaissance, patrol and search operations. However, against more heavily-armed VRs, even from the VOX series, the Lee wouldn't stand much of a chance. Plus, it is only armed with a missile-firing Milof Gun System 106 (MLF-GS 106) weapon.

Cyber Troopers Virtual-On MARZ

The VOX Lee is only encountered in the game's Dramatic Mode on the Normal difficulty level. It is pretty much cannon fodder, so you can put them out of commission at any range through any means, and its attacks can be avoided without much hassle. But, you still have to consider that it is often accompanied by stronger enemy VR units. Some VOX Lee units in the later missions can fight back.

When using the VOX Lee, it is recommended to use the Auto control scheme for ease of use, especially since it doesn't have an RW or LW, with its MLF-GS 106 being its only armament, as well as its CW. Playing this VR with any other control scheme would be tedious, since the player would have to press both weapon triggers to fire the MLF-GS 106.

How to unlock

To unlock this VR for use in all gameplay modes in MARZ, you must defeat 40 or more enemy VOX Lee in Dramatic Mode.

Trivia

• According to the official Japanese Cyber Troopers Virtual-On MARZ website, the Lee is described as being the first VR made for the VOX series.[1] Design-wise, the Lee is the core robot of all VOX units, upon which additional equipment is mounted onto to reconfigure it into new models.
