The VR-004 Temjin Type 94 is a non-playable 1st generation Virtuaroid featured in the lore of the Cyber Troopers Virtual-On series.
It is first seen in Knight of the White Rainbow, the fourth chapter of White Fleet V.C.a3 in Cyber Troopers Virtual-On: Fragmentary Passage.
Details[]
A remnant of the failed first V Project, this was one of the two combat VRs that were the last products officially produced by 0 Plant. Later, in the second V Project planned by DN, it was the base machine for the mass-produced MBV-04 as the core model, and was also the prototype for the so-called first generation VR that was officially adopted by DNA in the VC90s.
Unlike the mass-produced MBV-04, the VR-004 used by the White Fleet as its main machine is equipped with an ultra-high-efficiency V-Converter based on the standards established for BBB unit control in the first V project. Therefore, its potential as a combat VR is extremely high. Even the second-generation VR of RNA, which appeared after V.C.a2 and swept the limited war market, cannot be compared to this machine. Furthermore, the VR-004 used by the White Rainbow Knights, the most elite unit of the White Fleet, is a truly super-class fighter fuselage, equipped with special anti-Shadow equipment in addition to its original high performance. If such a VR were to appear on the battlefield of a limited war, it would certainly demonstrate its literally invincible strength. However, of course, this is not possible, since this machine is not a commercial machine developed for such a purpose.
Starting in V.C.a3, the VR-004 was still active on the front lines as the flagship of the White Fleet and the White Rainbow Knights. However, after the VR-707 was put into practical use thanks to the efforts of the development team led by Captain Vasquez, it gradually retired from that role, and was dismantled, with only the V-Converter being reused.
